Leptospermum scoparium Kiwi


Description:
A very hardy dwarf evergreen shrub. Flowers abundantly during spring. Foliage is tiny, purple and glossy, which nestles upon reddish branches. Red – pink flowers during summer.

Cultural:
Very easy to grow provided it is planted in a sunny or partly shaded position and will tolerate most soil types, this includes coastal conditions. This plant has a low water requirement once established. It is drought and frost tolerant. Trim lightly after flowering and fertilise with a long-term slow release fertiliser annually
Plant Landscape:
This plants dense growing habit makes it ideal for hedging and also looks great when used in general garden landscaping. Looks great in tubs and decorative pots
