Citrus Lemonicious
Congratulations on choosing Citrus Lemonicious, your very own fruiting patio lemon. To ensure your plant remains looking fantastic, we recommend planting in a large tub or decorative pot, using a high quality potting mix, positioned in a sunny or partly shaded position. Altitude is no issue for Citrus Lemonicious, making it the perfect modern and useful pot plant for high rise living.
Citrus Lemonicious is a compact growing small tree bearing, very juicy, and versatile home grown fruit. In a large pot, Citrus Lemonicious reaches around 1.5m x 1m, creating the ultimate decorative pot for your outdoor living area. An application of citrus fertiliser early autumn and spring would be beneficial.
Citrus Lemonicious, once established, will bloom with masses of scented white flowers followed by delicious, full sized fruit. The fruit is perfect for cooking, cocktails, fish ‘n’ chips, and that certain Mexican beer on hot, summery days!
Lemonicious is perfect for all types of gardens, pots, and containers, making it an easy to grow, and easy to maintain plant. Lemonicious prefers a nice sunny position in well drained soil. It is frost and coastal tolerant, and will grow to a height of 1.5m and a width of 1m.
The Benefits of a Squeeze of Lemonicious in your Tea:
Green Tea is an excellent source of cancer-fighting catechins. By themselves though, only 20% survive the digestive process. A study in the US has found that squeezing lemon juice into your Green Tea will boost the number of catechins that you can digest. The lemon juice acts as an insulator from digestion and can boost the absorption of catechins up to thirteen times more than the regular 20%.

Great Tip:
Roll the fruit along your kitchen bench while pressing down firmly. This will break down the fleshy tendrils inside the lemon and release a lot more juice when you squeeze it. Yum!
Other Notes:
48 full sized lemons were collected from a two year old plant, 80cm in width and 75cm in height.
