Rosemary is a very versatile, aromatic herb. It is used in a wide variety of dishes, including soups, vegetables, meats (particularly lamb), fish, stuffings, dressings and even desserts. It is brilliant for flavouring and is perfect for use when roasting and barbequing.
Try This with Rosemary Chefs Choice
- Combine 1/4 cup of fresh rosemary leaves with 1 cup of boiling water, leave to infuse and cool, strain and rinse over freshly shampooed hair for a brilliant shine.
- Puree fresh rosemary with olive oil to make a dipping sauce for crusty bread.
- Tie a bunch of rosemary together and soak in a bowl of beer or wine, then use it to brush onto your food during barbequing.
- Add a sprig of fresh rosemary to the gravy and make as directed on the pack. This is excellent served with lamb.
