Eucomis hybrid Dark Star

Eucomis Dark Star is aptly named as it truly resembles dwarf purple stars in the garden. The tiny 25cm tall by 35cm wide clump of narrow, dark purple fleshy leaves splay out at ground level and are topped with pinkish pineapple-like flowers in mid summer.
Cultural:
Eucomis Dark Star is a bulbous perennial that grows well in full sun to part shade and is drought tolerant once established.

They have a great tropical look that is amazing when mass or mix planted in the garden, pots, and containers.
