Hebe speciosa hybrid Totara Blue


Description:
An attractive evergreen shrub which grows to form a neat rounded shrub 1m x 1m. From mid summer to early autumn , large blue to lilac flowers are borne upon it branches, creating a brilliant display for a long period of time. The leaves are a medium ovate size for a hebe.

Cultural:
Prefers a sunny or partly shaded position in free draining soil. Remove spent flowers as required and fertilise annually with a long term slow release fertiliser. When young and you are wanting to create more bushiness, pinch out the tips of the new growth and they will branch from those points. It has a low water requirement once established.
Plant Landscape:
Hebe Totara Blue is an ideal general garden specimen that can be used for hedgeing or in a decorative pot. It can be planted in coastal areas and medium frost areas.
